Achieving Zero Net CO2 Emissions by 2050 has driven demand for biogas and alternative fuels exponentially. The industry faces unprecedented challenges that it must overcome in a short time: increasing production, continuing to innovate technological performance, and improving infrastructure.
These are the topics at the center of the European Summit on the Future of Biogas 2024 organized by the European Biogas Association (EBA) in Barcelona, which brings together top experts from the entire anaerobic digestion and renewable energy production chain through biogas.
Also scheduled was a talk by our CEO, G.F. Galanzino, who told how much we have learned over the years about biogas and renewable energy production from organic waste treatment.
The different sessions of the Summit also presented insights on current policies and regulations, the progress made in the use of alternative fuels in the transportation sector, including maritime applications, as well as the path taken to reduce European dependence on Russian gas, and much more.
