Greece’s green energy revolution has begun. This is evidenced by the new measures to support biomethane production (the new National Energy and Climate Plan aims to quintuple it by 2050), ongoing technological advances, and growing attention to the energy transition. Against this backdrop, the first Biomethane Day Greece, organized by Biomethane RNG Channel, is being held. It is a unique opportunity for industry leaders, politicians, and all interested stakeholders to discuss the future of biogas and biomethane in the country.
Our CEO, G.F. Galanzino, will speak on Wednesday, January 28th, at Panel IV – From Biogas to Biomethane: Technology in Action. His presentation will focus on what makes biomethane production truly efficient and scalable: not only the technologies that improve plant performance, but also the economics that determine their long-term sustainability.
In particular, we will explore OPEX, operating costs, and management costs—key factors that directly impact project feasibility and long-term investment returns.
Because today, more than ever, it’s clear that the biomethane game depends on both technological innovation and the robustness of the industrial model.
