On June 1st in Derbyshire falicity, UK, there was a demonstration of the tandem lifting procedure with the automated overhead cranes in the presence of a large representation of the final customer.

This procedure allows two carriages to overhead cranes to be synchronized in all phases of movement by controlling a single radio command thanks to a release/take system. It is also of great importance during maintenance since the combined action of the load capacities and the lifting beam allows important liftings.
