Entsorga is invited to Poland to the 12th IPOK 2024 National Congress to be held between November 20-22, 2024 in Szczyrk. The program includes a talk by our CEO, G.F. Galanzino with focus on Anaerobic Digestion and Mechanical Biological Treatment to produce Alternative Fuels.
The event, which has now become a must-attend event for those involved in the circular economy in Poland, is divided into three days: on the first, best practices on waste management will be presented, including our experience. The second day will hear about the different challenges faced daily by plant operators from the various regions of the country. On the table, among other topics, will be the financing of waste management, the sale of new materials and fertilizers that are derived from recovery processes, the need to undertake new investments to renovate facilities, the costs related to the waste treatment system as a whole, and, finally, the possibility of achieving the levels of recovery and recycling required by law.
The congress will conclude with a visit to Ostrava, Czech Republic, of a newly opened automated plant for the treatment of mixed municipal waste, which is also set up to produce alternative fuel from process residues.
