Digestate: The Objective. Speaking at the ADBA panel in London.

The perspective on digestate treatment is completely changing. For years, biogas producers have always viewed it as waste, a byproduct difficult to manage, even from a regulatory perspective. But today, at a time when Europe is aiming to reduce its dependence on chemical fertilizers, it’s clear how much value it can generate.

Biomethane producers, however, already knew: in the most efficient anaerobic digestion plants, nitrogen, phosphorus, and nutrients useful for the soil are recovered from digestate, a strategic industrial move for the overall sustainability of the plant.

These are the hottest topics that will be addressed at the round table organized as part of the ADBA (The Anaerobic Digestion and Bioresources Association) National Conference, to be held in London on Wednesday, December 10th.

Our President, Pier Cella Mazzariol, will speak at the 12:45 panel, sharing our experience as a company that has been developing technologies for decades to transform digestate into high-quality soil improvers and compost. A virtuous path to recover additional resources from biomass and reduce plant operating costs. And make both the environment and business win.
